Below are examples of Music Compositions, both for published titles, as well as compositions for Game Jams, and composition studies, as well as just for fun pieces of music, Please enjoy!

'Catnip' is a Jazz inspired composition from Cat Lady
(Nomad Games, 2018). The Latin/Jazz Fusion arrangement is
used along side a 'Boogie-Woogie' esque piano to invoke the
imagery of playful cats, the piece was intended to loop, which is the reason for an abrupt beginning and ending.

The Mystic Vale soundtrack (Nomad Games, 2019) is my favourite music work to date. The Main Theme uses Folk influences in orchestration and style and I feel it really captures the Fantasy and Natural focus of the game. Cleansing Rain is a soothing piece, using Ostinato Kalimba throughout along side some light percussion and a gentle string arrangement to simulate rain droplets resonating through a forest.

Dangerous Waters was part of a just for fun project I did one weekend, aiming to capture the somewhat cliche sound of pirate media as a whole while still remaining exciting to listen to with heavy brass and percussive elements against a frantic and transient string arrangement.

Origins was a Story-based adaptation of the board game, Talisman (Nomad Games, 2019). The game features many varied locations which I aimed to capture within the music. Desert is a phrygian-laden piece which explores Middle Eastern music while using traditionally western meter and rhythms, making it a much more accessible listening experience.

Springtime:Sunrise was written for a Game Jam in 2016, and used for a gardening/life sim rpg project where each season and time of day had it's own motif which played on transition. The theme is a very sparse and gentle arrangement evoking the brisk feel of a dew filled countryside in the Spring.

Dark Atmosphere 2  was written for a game jam project in 2015, for a sci-fi point and click graphic novel. It explores guttural synthesised textures with atmospheric and anticipating percussive lines, before introducing a shrill melodic synthesiser.
